Arived at micks at 17.55 and grabbed 3 score of blacks, as our frozen blacks were thiner than Glens wallet, so we needed to get confidence on the bait front.
Next stop was the chippy, then arived at the beach at 19.00 followed by Roger 10 mins later.
Rods went out, and before long we knew we were in for a hard nights work with weed and wind.
We all started of with small flounders, then the pouting moved in, so we tried to put out live baits, but the weed stoped the baits from sliding down the line, so it was a thankless task.
So we then decided to stick with the flappers, (apart from me who decided to give the back a rest in the van)
Colin and Roger battled on, with Dogs and pout in large nos. and we finaly packed up at 2am. |
