im trying to organise a boat fishing pike trip on ardleigh reservoir in essex. ive had some huge fish from this venue, its fully stocked with trout and other coarse fish so the pike are true lumps! im not talking about the summer months but for the end summer, start autumn. if i can get 10 or more we can get a group booking _________________ All the best

we can do a wednesday rog, suits me better as there will be less people about.
stix, ill be using one rod with a drift float and a deadbait trout and the other rod ill be using either plugs or a deadbait on a wiretrace used like a leure basically, this is called sink and draw. never used bluey for pike but ill be giving them a go, plus smelt or mackeral. they are fibreglass rowing boats which last time i went fit 2 quite comfy. i used to take a bucket filled with concrete on a rope for an anchor as they never supplied them but it may be different now. some proper huge carp in their as well if you dont fancy the pike. the res is 136 acres and has depths of around 40 foot in places _________________ All the best
