myself glenn and sifish fished the night tide, i ended up with a decent flounder (see the specimen list  ) glenn had 2 small sole and sifish didnt have much luck (we told you about them big hooks but will you listen?? ) baits used was lug and shrimp plus si had some evil smelling squid and glen had some rag that was in tatters! smaller hooks are defo the order of the day down there.

just seen the piccies on the spec list, i remember when you could get them and better ones all the time(shows i,m getting old) glad you got something,

you still can on erith pier, had a couple of clonkers of there earlier in the year. less crap and sewage may be the problem but im pretty sure people having them matches dont help, ive seen a hundred or so anglers fishing for them with bin liners half full of flounder, kill the lot just to weigh them in then chuck em all back dead at the end of it. now they moan they can hardly catch ! not suprising. anyway its the biggest ive had since the list started so hopefully it wont be that long before i can replace it with a bigger one

i tell ya what sean it was an effort as well ! i was suprised i could make it i was so ill. felt ok once i was there though, suprising how a bit of fishing can sort you out
